The Creek County Sheriffâ€™s Office says a Beggs man is in a Tulsa hospital after his car flipped during a high speed chase Monday afternoon.

Authorities say a sheriff's deputy tried to pull over a driver for speeding but the man sped away, driving on alternative highway 75 at speeds over 100 miles per hour.

The driver lost control of his car on a curve north of Beggs. The driver was ejected from the car, which landed on top of him.

The victim was flown by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.

There is no word on his condition.
