Two homicides over the weekend have brought Tulsa’s homicide county to 51 for the year.

One man was found dead on North Madison early Sunday morning. Tulsa Police are still looking for the shooter.

In a separate incident, a man was gunned down outside his Tulsa apartment near 52nd and Utica Saturday evening. Two men were waiting for Joseph Russell outside. Investigators say each had a gun, and together they fired about a dozen shots. Russell was hit three times in the chest and stomach.

Witnesses say the two suspects were wearing dark hooded jackets, and had a getaway car waiting. Mary Williams: "The two boys were running across, they turned the corner, and the vehicle turned on and they were gone.”

Tulsa Police say those suspects are still on the run.
