Investigation Continues Into Fatal Pawnee County Fire

A fatal fire that killed a 16-month-old Pawnee County girl last week was not sparked by an electrical problem. <br/><br/>Investigators say foul play has â€˜notâ€™ been ruled out as a possible cause.

A fatal fire that killed a 16-month-old Pawnee County girl last week was not sparked by an electrical problem.

Investigators say foul play has â€˜notâ€™ been ruled out as a possible cause. Dezire Parks died when her family's mobile home caught fire. The fire investigator says the fire started in an add-on bedroom behind the one where the girl was in a crib.

Her parents and 3-year-old brother were able to make it out of the house.
