Jury selection is underway in Rogers County, where a man is accused of attacking a paramedic for drugs.

46-year-old Allen Dallas Weddle is accused of approaching an EMT station and demanding morphine from 24-year old paramedic Emily O'Banion in May 2005. When she said she didn't have any, she says Weddle stabbed her.

O'Banion suffered injuries that put her in a coma, but she has since recovered.

Weddle is charged with attempted robbery with a weapon, assault and battery with a deadly weapon and burglary in the first degree.

Testimony could begin Wednesday.
