ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The cities of Broken Arrow and Norman are among the 100 safest in America according to a survey released Monday by Morgan Quitno Press.

Tulsa and Oklahoma City are ranked among the 100 most dangerous in the same survey.

Broken Arrow rates as the 20th safest city while Norman is ranked 48th safest.

Tulsa is listed as 36th most dangerous and Oklahoma City is 77th. Lawton is rated the 208th safest city among the 371 cities on the list.

St. Louis is rated the most dangerous with Detroit ranked 2nd.

Brick, New Jersey, is rated the safest followed by Amherst, New York.

Only cities that report crime rates are included. New Orleans is one city not included because its police department didn't report crime figures.
