OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ New Orleans Hornets center Tyson Chandler has missed three straight pre-season games but may play in the finale Tuesday night.

Chandler has a mild sprain to his left ankle and coach Byron Scott says there's no reason to risk further injury by playing.

But Scott says there is a chance Chandler will be in the lineup when the Hornets wrap up the pre-season Tuesday night at Sacramento.

Chandler was acquired by the Hornets in an off-season trade with the Chicago Bulls that sent PJ Brown and JR Smith to the Bulls.
