A Tulsa Police officer is injured overnight in an accident.

It happened around 2:30 AM in the intersection of 21st and Peoria. Police say the officer had his lights and sirens on as he headed west to help another officer. He collided with a vehicle going south on Peoria.

The officer was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The driver of the other car was not hurt.

Tulsa Police are still trying to determine what happened. The officer's name has not been released.
