This is Teen Read week and students at a Tulsa middle school are taking in a Tulsa literary treasure.

All of Clinton Middle School's 440 students are reading "The Outsiders" by Tulsa Author S.E. Hinton.

Volunteers, like News on 6 anchor Craig Day, read the book to students this week, as the kids follow along. Other school lessons throughout the day will also tie-in to the book in some way.

The Clinton students will finish Wednesday in time for Fall Break. They'll get to watch "The Outsiders" movie Wednesday afternoon.
