Creek County authorities are still investigating a triple shooting near Sapulpa that killed one person and critically wounded two others.
Detectives say it happened at a party Saturday night. They say a fight broke out when the host of the party accused some guests of denting his car. Witnesses say the host, Christoper Vanmeter, pulled out a gun and opened fire, fatally shooting 20-year old Dakota Cloud and wounding Cloud's sister and friend.
Witnesses say everyone involved was drinking. Victim’s mother Millie Frank: “They were all friends, they were all friends. I don't understand why he would shoot em. They didn't have a gun; they didn't have any kind of weapons or anything on them."
Creek County Sheriff’s Office deputies have not arrested the shooter and say the case could be one of self-defense. The three people shot were unarmed.
