ENID, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities say white powder found in a car involved in a Labor Day crash that killed six people is methamphetamine.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the powder was found inside a car driven by Thomas Kirby of Sand Springs and was tested at an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation lab.

Investigators say Kirby was eastbound on the Sand Springs Expressway when he lost control and crossed the median and crashed into a westbound car.

Kirby and a passenger in his car were killed along with four people in the westbound car.

The Highway Patrol says it's investigation is complete because the driver responsible for the crash died.
