OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The owner of a company whose tractor-trailer rig was involved in a crash that killed the driver and an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper says there was nothing wrong with the rig's brakes.

Investigators have said there was a defect in the truck's brakes that contributed to the October first crash that killed Trooper Bill McClenden and truck driver Hussein Osman.

The truck was owned by Arsh Transport in Bakersfield, California, and company owner Harpreet Sidhu disputes that finding. He says he repaired the brakes after problems were discovered during an inspection in September.

Investigators say McClendon was attempting to make a U-turn ahead of the truck when the crash occurred on the Will Rogers Turnpike near Claremore.
