New Paint Sits Well With Students

TU's Golden Hurricane fans are still celebrating after their big win against Southern Miss this week.

There was no game this weekend but there were still plenty of supporters at Skelly Stadium Saturday.

Organizers say about 100 students took turns painting the home bleachers. University administrators provided the supplies and students provided the manpower to paint the seats that spell TU.

Students said the stadium deserved a fresh coat of paint to go along with TU's successful season.

It's been 20 years since the seats have been painted.
