GENTRY, Ark. (AP) -- The National Transportation Board says pilot error is the likely cause of a helicopter ambulance crash in Arkansas that killed a Texas man.

Dennis Enders of Broken Arrow was piloting the helicopter when it crashed in a field near Gentry, Arkansas, in February 2005. Robert Arneson of Harlingen, Texas, died in the crash while Enders and two members of the helicopter's ambulance crew were injured.

The crew had flown from Claremore to Arkansas to take Arneson to a hospital after he was injured in a traffic accident.

The air ambulance crashed after trying to take off from the yard of a private home.
