OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A bill sponsored by Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe and Congressman John Sullivan to provide federal money to private landowners who protect fish and wildlife on their property is now law.
President Bush has signed the legislation that continues the Partners for Fish and Wildlife program.
Inhofe says since 1990 more than 124-thousand acres in Oklahoma have been enrolled in the program which he says restores habitats for wildlife and protects the rights of landowners.
