WACO, Texas (AP) _ Former Oklahoma All-American running back and Heisman Trophy winner Billy Sims will be joining the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
Sims won the 1978 Heisman and finished second a year later. He's currently the all-time leading rusher in OU history.
Others being inducted into the Texas Hall are Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, soccer star Mia Hamm, Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds and Olympic decathlete Rafer Johnson.
Also selected are former Texas running back Roosevelt Leaks, former Houston Oilers quarterback Warren Moon and former Dallas Cowboys running back Don Perkins.
The date and ticket prices for this year's induction ceremonies haven't been determined.
