A Subway restaurant in Owasso was not open Friday morning when a car came crashing through the front window.

Employees were in the backroom when they heard the crash. The car drove about 20 feet into the restaurant, knocking over booths, tables, chairs and the pop machine.

The driver told Owasso Police he accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake. No one was hurt, but the accident could have been deadly.

Subway owner Virgle Smith: "Well a lot of people driving by today, maybe they'll notice us today. This is the drive-thru we always wanted."

Damage to the Subway is estimated at $30,000.
