Heavy fog may be to blame for a Friday morning accident.

A woman and her son were trying to turn left at the stoplight at 27th and Harvard when another driver ran a red light and hit them. That driver told Tulsa Police she didn't see the red light because of the fog.

The woman whose car was hit was taken to the hospital for chest pains.

A Tulsa Police officer was in the area when the call went out, but said he couldn't see the accident through the fog at first.
