NORMAN, Okla. (AP) The Oklahoma softball team kicks off its fall schedule tonight against Seminole State in Norman.

Similar to a doubleheader, the Sooners will play a 14 inning contest against Seminole State.

The game will mark the first of 12 that will be played at the OU Softball Complex. While none of the games count toward the regular season record in the spring, it's an opportunity for OU fans to get an early glimpse of the 2007 squad.

Oklahoma will host the Fall Festival from September 29th thru October 1st. The Sooners will play 5 games, facing off against Northern, Southwestern, Washburn, Texas Women's University and Pittsburg State.

Last year, the squad was 40-21-1 overall and advanced to the NCAA regional championships.
