NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The return of Oklahoma receiver Manuel Johnson from an ankle injury has meant fewer opportunities for cornerback Reggie Smith on offense.

Coach Bob Stoops has said he wants to get the football into Smith's hands on offense but has made only token appearances so far.

Still Stoops says Smith is such a natural that the Sooners will continue trying to get him on field on offense and get the ball to him.
