LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) _ Bobby Reid threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as Oklahoma State recovered from a sloppy start to beat Arkansas State 35-7.
Reid threw two interceptions in the first quarter yesterday but settled down after that.
The Indians gained only 188 yards on offense and turned the ball over three times.
Reid threw four touchdown passes in OSU's 52-10 season-opening victory over Missouri State, but he looked shaky at times against Arkansas State.
Khayyam Burns intercepted a short pass toward the left flat and raced 51 yards for a touchdown to give the Indians a 7-0 lead. Koby McKinnon intercepted Reid at the Arkansas State 12.
But the Indians couldn't increase their lead, and OSU tied it early in the second quarter, when Reid kept the ball and ran in from 13 yards out.
Reid finished 11-18 for 167 yards and also ran for 45 yards.
