McALESTER, Okla. (AP) -- A Kiowa woman's being held on a first-degree manslaughter complaint for the death of a 10-year-old girl in McAlester.
21-year-old Jona Montgomery is accused of driving a car that struck Kristen Collins and her 15-year-old brother, Aaron Collins, on Friday night.
Kristen died at a Tulsa hospital on Saturday. Aaron's listed in critical condition.
They were struck by a car following a McAlester High School football game. Officials say the car was speeding on a residential road, lost control and hit several vehicles.
The driver left the scene of the accident on foot. Police say a homeowner later found Montgomery hiding in a house.
