FAR HILLS, N.J. (AP) Two golfers with Oklahoma State ties are picked for the U.S. team that will play in this year's World Amateur Team Championship.
On the 3 man roster will be OSU sophomore Jonathan Moore and Trip Kuehne, a former standout for the Cowboys.
Webb Simpson of Wake Forest will be the squad's third member. Chris Kirk of Georgia and Billy Horschel of Florida will be the team's alternates.
The World Amateur Team Championship will be held in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Kuehne reached the quarterfinals of the US Amateur last week and is a two time U.S. Walker Cup team member. He led OSU to the 1995 NCAA title.
Moore won three straight tournaments for OSU as a freshman, including the NCAA championships, an event in which the Cowboys also won the team title.
