Early Monday morning traffic accident sends woman to hospital

A Tulsa woman in a the hospital after she flipped her car after leaving a Tulsa bar.

Tulsa Police say it happened about 1:30 AM Monday in the 8100 block of East 7th Street.

Officers say the woman left the roadway, hit a tree and then rolled her convertible over. She was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say alcohol played a major role in the accident.
