Two people are sent to the hospital and one could face charges after joyriding near the construction site at US highway 75 and the 71st Street exit.

Authorities say a man and woman were driving around the site when the man crashed into a piece of construction equipment.

The woman was taken to the hospital for observation.

Officers say they were going to perform a field sobriety test on the driver when he requested that he be taken to the hospital as well.
