Tulsa Firefighters are asking area motorist to fill the boot this weekend. The firefighters are out in the heat to collect donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

They will be at some of Tulsa's busiest intersections all weekend, asking folks to give what they can. The firefighters say, so far, there are a lot of people doing just that. Tulsa Fire Captain Cory Barks: "It's a great thing. You see how generous people really are and that people have good hearts and they're more than willing to give. And we're able to give money that otherwise probably would not be donated."

The firefighters will be out until Sunday. You can also make donations at your local fire station.
