A man is in a Tulsa hospital after impaling his arm on a spiked metal fence while trying to climb over it.

Tulsa Police say residents at the Fairmont Terrace Apartments at 58th and Newport called around 1:15 AM Wednesday saying they could hear someone screaming for help.

Emergency rescue crews had to cut through the metal bars in order to free the man.

His injuries are non-life threatening.
