OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ More than $8.7-million is allocated to nonprofit partner agencies this year.

United Way President and CEO Bob Spinks says his agency netted $13.7-million for distribution.

About $5-million was earmarked for the agency to manage the charitable campaigns of various city, state and government agencies.

Officials say the left over $8.7-million dollars will be used to pay for services accessed by more than 350,000 people.

Spinks says some of the services include youth programs and help for the elderly.

The United Way board recently agreed to fund a 211 telephone help line that will provide information about health and human services.
