A man reportedly stole thousands of dollars from a Chase Bank near 91st and Memorial in south Tulsa at about 11 AM Saturday. They say the man in the hat came to the bank in a White Chrysler minivan possibly a Voyager.
They say he went into the bank waited his turn then handed the teller a note saying she had 20 seconds to give him three-thousand dollars. The teller handed over the money and the man ran off across the street.
Matt Thompson, Witness: "We looked out, we say this guy, this real tall guy running across the parking lot, tall and real fast, and we're like 'man, he obviously stole something because he was running."
Tulsa Police believe the man had an accomplice who picked him up in the white van near the Homeland and Stein Mart stores.
