WACO, Texas (AP) A federal judge has handed a 30-year prison term to an Oklahoma man who pleaded guilty to a federal charge of production of child pornography.

US District Judge Walter S. Smith Junior also fined Shawnee resident Donnie Earl Witt $5,000.00 during Wednesday's hearing.

Smith sentenced Rebecca Sue Linton -- Witt's girlfriend -- to seven years in prison after she pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

According to court records, Witt and Linton were arrested in March 2004 after they fled from a Texas state trooper who had stopped their vehicle on Interstate 35 near Waco.

The pursuit continued for about 30 miles before the car's engine blew out near Hillsboro.

Officers found a 14-year-old girl in the car, along with photos of the child engaging in sexual acts.
