BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) _ A 41-year-old Bartlesville man is killed after his car runs off the road and overturns just east of Bartlesville in Washington County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says James Scott Kelly was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he was pronounced dead following Sunday night's crash.

The OHP says Kelly was driving a 1973 Jeep when he ran off the road and lost his right rear tire. The car then flipped several times.

A passenger in the vehicle -- 17-year-old Jessie Sumpter -- was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
