MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Texas Rangers pitcher Kenny Rogers is to have his hearing before Bud Selig today.
Team officials have said Rogers will meet with the commissioner today in Milwaukee to appeal his 20-game suspension for shoving two TV cameramen last month.
Selig imposed the suspension and $50,000 fine on Rogers over the lefty's June 29th videotaped tirade before a game at Ameriquest Field in Arlington.
Video captures the three-time All-Star shoving two cameramen when he went onto the field for pregame stretching.
On Monday, Rogers turned himself to face misdemeanor assault charges over the incident. He's free on 15-hundred dollars bond.
Rogers has made four starts awaiting the appeal. Thursday night, he gave up eight hits and four runs over six innings and getting no decision in the Rangers' 6-to-4 loss to the Oakland Athletics.
