CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) _ Jennifer Garner's hometown has thrown her a baby shower.

Some 4,248 fans attended the West Virginia Power's South Atlantic League game Sunday night against Hagerstown, Maryland, on Jen and Ben Baby Shower Night at Appalachian Power Park.

Fans who donated a gift or whose first name was Jennifer were admitted free.

Power account executive Matt Thompson says among the 410 donations were a car seat, diapers and baby food.

The promotion benefited the baby pantry for Starting Points, a nonprofit group serving children and the families of children under age 8.

Garner star of the TV series ``Alias,'' and film star Ben Affleck didn't attend the game.

The couple wed last month. Garner, who grew up in Charleston, is pregnant with her first child.
