Tulsa County prosecutors have filed first-degree murder counts in the fatal beating of a man in a city park.

40-year-old Gerald Wayne Moore and 19-year-old Ashlie Thompson are charged in the Saturday death of William Russell Tulsa Police found Russell's body at Kendall-Whittier Park at 400 South Atlanta. He had head trauma and his face was covered with blood.

An arrest report says Moore told detectives he assaulted Russell after Russell grabbed his girlfriend.

Moore and Thompson remain in custody.
