The competition for "Gimme The Mike" Season 2 is heating up.

Crews are hard at work on "Gimme The Mike", Season 2. Twenty contestants will compete for a karaoke machine, a new car, and a recording contract. A few contestants are back for a second shot at stardom.

Deb Walker was a contestant from Season 1 and says the pressures twice as intense this year. First-timer Jesse Beims says he's not competing for fame and fortune, just the chance to do what he loves. "I think this is why I'm here. This is why I was created. This is what God made me to do in my opinion."

Round 1 of "Gimme The Mike" Season 2, premieres Monday, July 11th at 7 PM. The top contestant from each show will face off in a live finale in August.
