BACHE, Okla. (AP) -- A Pittsburg County man is being held without bond in connection with the shooting death of a McAlester man.

Pittsburg County Undersheriff Richard Sexton says 46-year-old Sidney Jackson is being held on complaints of first-degree murder and public intoxication.

Sexton says he expects murder charges will be filed later this week.

Jackson is a suspect in Friday's shooting death of Basil -L- Grippando, who was found dead inside Jackson's home in Bache Friday evening.

Sexton says a gun believed to be the murder weapon was discovered at the scene.
