NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops would get a $3-million bonus if he stays at OU for three more years.

The OU Board of Regents approved the bonus if Stoops remains the Sooners' coach through 2008. Regents also extended Stoops contract through the 2011 season.

Stoops' base salary is $200,000 a year, but he's guaranteed $2.4-million this year through outside income. His contract includes a $100,000 raise each year and he can earn nearly $500,000 more in incentive bonuses.

OU is 67-and-12 in Stoops' six seasons with three Big 12 championships and one national title.

Athletic director Joe Castiglione is geting a $75,000 raise, women's basketball coach Sherri Coale a $30,000 raise and men's gymnastics coach Mark Williams an $11,000 raise.

Eight assistant football coaches will get raises ranging from $20,000 to $40,000 a year.
