OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Capstone Oil and Gas Company plans to appeal a jury's ruling awarding more than $7.5-million to plaintiffs in a civil lawsuit.

A group of seven plaintiffs filed suit in Kingfisher County against Capstone alleging fraud, breach of contract and violation of production revenue.

The plaintiffs and Capstone each own a share of the rights to an oil well located in Kingfisher.

The plaintiffs alleged they were not paid production royalties on the well from June 2001 through July 2004.

A lawyer representing Capstone James Cox says he had no comment on the case, but will file an appeal as soon as possible.

One of the plaintiffs' attorneys R. Charles Wilkin says he was pleased with the verdict and believes the verdict will be upheld.
