Sapulpa Fire crews say it started just before 6AM Monday morning on the garage-side of the home.

Investigators say the father of the house woke up when he heard a loud booming sound. He was able to wake his family and get them out safely.

Fire crews say the multiple levels of the home made the fire extremely difficult to get under control. The family had recently started remodeling the home.

The house is considered a total loss. Damage is estimated at $200,000.00.
