Tulsa Public Schools announce new state test scores on Wednesday.

The good news is more 5th-graders are making the grade. Math scores were up at 36 Tulsa elementary schools and reading scores were up at 28 schools. But Tulsa eighth graders didn't fare as well, sliding three percentage points in math even though they were slightly up in reading.

Edison Middle School bucked the trend, improving in four out of five subjects, with a big 25 percent gain in their math scores.
