OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Police seized a minivan and arrested one man during a raid on a home about a mile from where four bodies were found earlier this week.
Capt. Jeffrey Becker would not confirm whether the raid was related to Monday's shooting deaths of four people found in front of a mobile home at 1800 SE 29.
Becker said police served a search warrant at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. A burgundy minivan was taken from the residence and is being processed for evidence, Becker said. A security camera in the area recorded a dark minivan entering and leaving the scene where the bodies were found.
Brian Scott Spencer, 27, was arrested on a complaint of marijuana possession. Becker said police found what appeared to be a small amount of marijuana in Spencer's possession after he was stopped outside the home being raided. He was convicted in 2000 of a similar charge.
Spencer's girlfriend, Debbie Flowers, said Spencer works at a business on SE 29 near the trailer where the three men and a woman were found shot dead. She said Spencer was acquainted with the victims, but he told police he knew nothing about the murders.
Flowers said she was terrified when police stormed the house as she was leaving for work. She said one officer told her to get on the ground and held a gun to her head.
Flowers said police questioned her, Spencer and his parents for five hours Wednesday night.
Becker would not confirm whether police questioned anyone about the deaths.
Police on Monday found the bodies of Terry Lynn Smith, 56; Amy Jeanne Wright, 26; James Donald Swindle, Jr., 48; and James D. Alderson, Jr., 57. All the victims died of multiple gunshot wounds, said Kevin Rowland, chief investigator for the state medical examiner.
A witness at a party near where the victims were found flagged officers down for help after hearing gunshots around 6:30 p.m. Monday. Police then found the bodies.
