OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Here are a list of Oklahomans who have died since fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq began in October 2001:
_ Marine Lance Cpl. Thomas A. Blair, 24, of Broken Arrow. He died March 24, 2003, near Nasiriyah, Iraq, when the vehicle he was riding in was caught in a crossfire between U.S. and Iraqi forces.
_ Marine Staff Sgt. Melvin Blazer Sr., 38, of Moore. He died Dec. 12 after taking small-arms fire near Fallujah, Iraq.
_ Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Doyle W. Bollinger Jr.,21, of Poteau. He died June 6, 2003, in Iraq when unexploded ordnance accidentally detonated near where he was working.
_ Air Force Capt. John J. Boria, 29, of Broken Arrow. He died Sept. 6 from injuries he received in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Doha, Qatar.
_ Army Spc. Adam Noel Brewer, 22, of Bartlesville. He died Feb. 25 when a land mine detonated while he was on patrol.
_ Army Spc. Kyle A. Brinlee, 21, of Pryor. He died May 11 near Asad, Iraq, when an explosive blew up the convoy vehicle in which he was riding.
_ Army Chief Warrant Officer Lawrence S. Colton, 32, of Oklahoma City. He died April 11 in Baghdad when his helicopter was shot down.
_ Army Pvt. Jerod R. Dennis, 19, of Antlers. He died April 25 near Shkin in eastern Afghanistan after a gunbattle with insurgents.
_ Army Sgt. Daniel L. Galvan, 30, of Moore. He died Aug. 12 in Afghanistan when the helicopter he was riding in crashed.
_ Army Chief Warrant Officer Travis W. Grogan, 31, of Moore. He died Nov. 27 when the airplane he was in crashed near Bamian, Afghanistan.
_ Marine Cpl. Nathaniel T. Hammond, 24, of Tulsa. He died Nov. 8 from enemy action in Babil province, Iraq.
_ Army Spc. Robby Taylor Hendrickson, 24, of Broken Bow. He died Feb. 1 after being injured when the military vehicle he was driving hit a barrier and toppled over.
_ Army Staff Sgt. Jason Hendrix, 28, of Claremore. He died Feb. 16 when an explosion occurred while he was conducting combat operations.
_ Army Spc. Jeffrey S. Henthorn, 25, of Choctaw. He died Feb. 8 of noncombat-related injuries in Balad, Iraq.
_ Civilian Fern Leona Holland, 33, of Bluejacket. She died March 9, 2004, near the town of Hillah, Iraq when her car was ambushed by five Iraqi gunmen.
_ Army 2nd Lt. Luke S. James, 24, of Hooker. He died Jan. 27, 2004, near Iskandariyah, Iraq in an explosive attack.
_ Army Sgt. Carl W. Lee, 23, of Oklahoma City. He died Nov. 28 in Ar Ramadi, Iraq, while his unit was conducting a dismounted patrol.
_ Army Spc. James E. Marshall, 19, of Tulsa. He died May 5, 2004, in Baghdad when his vehicle hit an explosive device.
_ Marine Lance Cpl. Joseph Nice, 19, of Choctaw. He died Aug. 4 in Iraq.
_ Army Staff Sgt. Erickson H. Petty, 28, of Fort Gibson. He died May 3 Salman al Habb, Iraq when he was attacked by small arms fire while conducting security of a weapons cache.
_ Army Sgt. Ross A. Pennanen, 36, of Shawnee. He died Nov. 2, 2003, in Fallujah, Iraq, when the helicopter he was riding in was shot down.
_ Army Spc. Lyle Rymer, 24, of Roland. He died Jan. 28 while guarding an area being barricaded for the Iraqi elections.
_ Army Spc. Stephen M. Scott, 21, of Lawton. He died Aug. 23, 2003 near Fallujah, Iraq when he was shot in a non-combat incident.
_ Army Sgt. Kyle Seitsinger, 29, of Oklahoma City. He died Jan. 29 in the village of Dehe Hendu in Afghanistan when a weapons cache exploded.
_ Marine Cpl. Scott M. Vincent, 21, of Bokoshe. He died April 30 in Anbar province, Iraq in a car bombing by Iraqi insurgents.
_ Army Pvt. Jason M. Ward, 25, of Tulsa. He died Oct. 22, 2003 in Baghdad of non-combat related injuries.
_ Marine Pvt. Nachez Washalanta II, 21, of Ardmore. He Aug. 21 when a roadside bomb exploded near his convoy outside Mosul, Iraq.
_ Marine Staff Sgt. Aaron Dean White, 27, of Shawnee. He died May 19, 2003, in Shatt al Hillah Canal, Iraq when the helicopter he was riding in crashed.
_ Army Sgt. Steven W. White, 29, of Lawton. He died Aug. 13, 2003. in Tikrit, Iraq when the armored personnel carrier he was riding in hit an anti-tank mine.
_ Marine Lance Cpl. Lamont N. Wilson, 20, of Lawton. He died Sept. 6 in a suicide attack outside Fallujah, Iraq.
_ Marine Lance Cpl. Jordan D. Winkler, 19, of Broken Arrow. He died Nov. 26 at Bravo Surgical Company at Camp Fallujah in a non-combat-related incident.
