HOMINY, Okla. (AP) – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Hominy man has died after driving off a gravel road and rolling his pickup truck.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say 40-year-old Paul Travis Ray was headed east on an Osage County road northeast of Hominy when he ran off the left side of the road. Troopers say Ray was ejected through the driver's side window as his truck rolled one-half time around 11 PM Sunday.
Officials say Ray was pinned under the truck for about 30 minutes before the Hominy Fire Department could free him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say Ray was not wearing a seat belt.
