OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The state House and Senate plan for short sessions today so lawmakers can prepare for the annual baseball game between the two legislative bodies.

The state Senate won last year by an 11-4 score, and are bolstered this year by freshman Senator Randy Bass of Lawton, a former major leaguer. The Senate team also includes Senator Scott Pruitt of Broken Arrow. Pruitt played college baseball and is part-owner of the Oklahoma RedHawks.

The House and Senate must adjourn by May 27th.
