BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) -- A Tulsa bomb squad destroys a bomb found in a stolen car.

The car was chased by Broken Arrow police and stopped Monday. Police say three juveniles inside the vehicle fled on foot and were taken into custody a short time later.

Officers spotted the bomb while they were conducting an inventory of the stolen vehicle's contents. A police dog brought in identified the item as a bomb.

Tulsa's bomb squad confirmed the item as an explosive device after its safe detonation. Authorities say an investigation by Broken Arrow Police and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents is continuing.
