In honor of Mother's Day weekend, McDonald's held a special breakfast Thursday morning paying tribute to Tulsa mothers and grandmothers who have faced breast cancer and won.

Breast cancer survivor Kathleen Berger: "I had great doctors, did the chemo did the radiation, lost my hair, found my sense of humor. My husband cried for me when I couldn't. My best friend would get up with me every morning at 7 o'clock and meet me at the gym and we would get on the treadmill every morning because that was my connection to a normal routine."

McDonald's also kicked off a weekend fundraiser and you can help. The proceeds from all baked apple pie sold at every Tulsa area McDonald's will be donated to the Susan G- Komen Breast Cancer foundation, to pay for research and education.

McDonalds will also be selling pink ribbon for a dollar.
