A Washington County jury is recommending a 20-year prison term for a Bartlesville man whose crime spree triggered a statewide Amber Alert.
36-year-old Bradley Curtis Scruggins was convicted of violating a protective order, assaulting his mother and estranged wife in Bartlesville, and then stealing his 4-year-old son Cage.
Authorities found Scruggins four days later with his father in Wagoner. The jury also recommended Scruggins pay a $1,000 fine for the protective order violation.
