Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting incident at a south Tulsa apartment complex. One person, a 25-year-old man, who was shot several times, was taken to a Tulsa hospital.

The shooting occurred shortly before 3 PM near 64th and Newport. No word on the victimâ€™s condition.

Tulsa School officials say two nearby schools, Marshall Elementary and McClure Elementary, were placed on lockdown for a short time.

The search for a suspect continues.
