Promoting children's literacy and enjoy free food for doing so. Panera Bread hosted its fourth annual "Knead to Read" benefit.

All eight Tulsa area Panera restaurants accepted donations of children's books. Those who donated a book, got a certificate for a free bagel. The books will be donated to Resonance, who will use them for their mother's read program.

Resonance director Penny Painter: "We take tapes, tape recorders, mothers in prison, they can listen while they're separated from their mother."

Resonance is a nonprofit organization that helps women who are experiencing challenges become self-sufficient.
