A close call for 2 people who escape their burning home early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out around 1 AM near 71st and Elm in Broken Arrow. Firefighters say the fire started on the back porch and went up into the attic.

The two people inside got out safely with help from neighbors who beat on the door. Damage is estimated at $60,000.

The cause is under investigation.
