From baggage handlers to top executives every American Airlines employee in the US can expect a pay raise.

American's parent company AMR Corporation approved the 1.5 percent pay increase for all management and non-union employees. Union employees will also get the same raise under contracts approved two years ago.

Although the raise is small, the company says it shows progress in operations and finances for the nation's largest airline.
